Founded in 1928, the United Way of Trail & District has been committed to building a better community for everyone for the last 80 plus years. The United Way is most famous for its role as a fundraiser, but today it has evolved into much more. The United Way plays a major role in community building by providing financial support to our Affiliate Agencies that meet our guidelines of supporting the Mental, Physical and Social Well-being of individuals in our community. We have also moved into providing Community Impact by indentifying areas of concern in our community and developing a plan for assisting in these areas.

As we continue to redefine ourselves in a Community Impact model. We are committed to furthering our current Community Partnerships and building new ones in the community. Being part of programs such as Success by6, and KB Dental Access the United Way of Trail & district ensures that not only are priority areas being identified and addressed, but that long term solutions are being developed to support the community.
